Several Thoughts

I just noticed that my post that I thought I had published somehow got saved instead to my draft folder. I have rectified the problem. I also noticed earlier that the server was down for an hour or so. Everything should be back to normal now.
On Wednesday nights, David usually stays in our prayer meeting instead of going into the nursery. He’s never given any indication of what he’s absorbing, so I was interested to note that on the way home from church last night he asked a specific question. “Two men prayed about a barn. What were they talking about?”
I might mark it down: he’ll be five in June. I’m often interested in when they start expressing understanding of what is going on around them. Yes, I know he’s observing and learning, but I’m particularly interested in his understanding of language.
