I’m thinking that maybe I should spend my time sharing cutsy stories of my children instead of trying to solve all the problems of the world.
And more time reading my Bible.
And more time doing laundry.
And less time being introspective. But that would mean that I should delete this post.

Hi Michelle, sometimes I struggle about whether I should write about the sinful behaviour of my daughter and the hard time I’m having some days versus the fun moments I share with her because I do not want to ‘publicise’ everything about her life to others and embarrass her in future.
You’re doing a good work here and I am reading and thinking about these issues although Hannah isn’t at that stage yet. Don’t be discouraged
You have been a blessing to me!

I think about this too. There are topics I haven’t covered because I don’t want to embarrass my children someday. On the other hand, I’m operating on the principle that when my children are married and have children of their own, they’ll be glad for what I’ve written down. I do think it’s important not to give only the bad stuff, though. It’s easy to be focused on the negative, the challenges that face us day by day, and forget about the joy that comes from walking with God and teaching our children. I want my children to understand the good parts of parenting, too. Maybe I’m due for some posts on that.
