Although I’ve gotten a lot done, I’ve not done very well at keeping God’s Word central in my life this week.
Thankfully it is early in the week. I just spent some time reading in Genesis. I got my reading done, but now I need to think about it. Just reading doesn’t help me to be a better child of God or mother or wife. I need to be like the wise man who heard the word of God and obeyed.
This morning we did talk about King David who expressed a variety of emotions along with his confidence in God. I read several verses from several Psalms. Our David nodded and agreed. Bethel went on eating her breakfast.
Life goes on! Our heavenly Father’s mercies are new every morning.
