I got behind on my chronological Bible reading. This morning I started to catch up, and read a number of chapters in Proverbs. I love this book. It reminds me of what I should love: humility, discretion, diligence, wisdom. As I read I feel like a kid in a candy store, “Ooo, I want that. That too, please. Definitely that. Can I have that, as well?”
So I decided that I needed to start reading Proverbs at breakfast again. But since Lee has been gone, the kids have been eating breakfast while I talk to him in the morning. Maybe we can do Proverbs at lunch. I’m not holding my breath. Change is hard.
