Preferring One Another

I guess I did say something spiritual yesterday, and what’s more, David remembered!

Yesterday, David said at breakfast, “Serve me first!” I told him that God wants us to serve others first. (In retrospect, I probably should have asked a question instead of lecturing…) This morning, I came to the table and David informed me that he served Bethel (a bowl and spoon) first, before himself. Yea! He listened! I think teaching our children to serve one another is a part of teaching them to practice humility. Here are the verses we’re talking about: Philippians 2:3-5 .
