Here are four passages I printed out this morning in large type. I’ll cut out each one separately. We’ll read one each morning at breakfast, and then tell God thank you for what we find in the Bible. Maybe when I get it all together I’ll print them out on cards, but for now, they’re just on regular paper.
- Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3
- O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 34:8
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 [Thank you that we can know you and learn about you]
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

This is a great idea and something I want to do : ). I like the focus on the character of God.

I do too. Kelly and I noticed how, even though talking about God’s attributes seems to be a part of Psalm 78, we don’t really do it much. And since she and I are both on the sleep deprived side… we decided we needed to think ahead on this one!
