Look at What God Did!

Thinking once again about Psalm 78 and how I’m applying it this week.

What are the wonderful works of God in my life this week? Am I sharing them with my children?

Thought I’d ask my children,”What has God done for you this week?” They told me. Pretty basic stuff, nothing shocking.

Then I asked, “What is God teaching you this week?”

Got some good answers. Felt satisfied.

Crickets chirped. What is God doing for you, Mom?

They didn’t ask, but I told them anyway, trying to keep it short. I was interested how easy it was to try to get them to be transparent (every parent wants that kind of transparency), but not so easy the other way around.

“Look at what God did!” is probably one of the best parenting sayings ever. I love it.
